Travel Guides & Experiences

I love traveling, then sharing my crazy-kinda-cheap — yet enough to feel hella boujee — trips. These posts are the travel side of CeeHerGo: what a place looked like, what I did there, and what I would do differently next time.

Destinations so far span Asia, Europe, North America and South America, from Tokyo to Rio de Janeiro and cities across the United States.

Travel has always been the loudest part of this blog, the part where the journey truly begins with a single step. Each trip becomes its own small chapter: what a city looked like on arrival, what I ate, where I wandered off to, and the tiny details that never make it into a guidebook. I write from Asia, Europe, North America and South America, and every destination gets its own breakdown so you can browse by region rather than scroll endlessly. Some posts are pure photo galleries, others are practical notes on cost and timing, and a few are just a sidenote about the mood of a place.

The travel section is really about first impressions and the stories that cling to you afterward. The featured entries mix short photo essays with longer reflections, side-by-side notes, and the occasional rant about something that did not live up to the hype. Highlights include city walks, neighborhood guides, and personal recommendations for anyone who wants to see a place honestly rather than secondhand. There are also lighter pieces here and there, like gathering inspiration for a future route, planning around a birthday or a special event, and figuring out how to move between countries without losing your mind or your budget.

If you are new here, start with the destinations filter and let curiosity do the work. You will find guides on Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, and a spread of cities across the United States and beyond, alongside videos and daily life posts that fill in the spaces between trips. A little about me is tucked in near the travel notes, and the gallery is a good place to browse for a sense of the photography style before you commit to a long read. Every entry is written to be useful and honest, with plenty of whitespace and room to breathe, because travel writing should feel like a warm invitation rather than a checklist.

Travel Notes

Budget-Friendly, Straight From the Trip

I write these guides as I actually travel them — the cheap finds, the long transit days, and the little detours worth taking. Every trip write-up is personal and informal, so you can skim it for the highlights or read the whole thing when you are planning a trip of your own.

More than just the postcards
